How much does the league cost?
Each session is currently run at cost. This means that the cost of each session is as LOW as it possibly can be. You can expect to pay somewhere between $230 and $270 for the entire session. This includes 12 games, a custom jersey AND ref fees. That means more money for beer.....or seltzers.....whatever you're into, we don't judge.
What's the benefit of a draft league over a normal team league?
While there isn't anything wrong with a normal team league, more often than not some teams end up in divisions they don't belong in. Or they bring players who are playing too low or too high for their current skill level. With a draft league we can ensure each team is of equal skill. Every team will have a mix of new players and veterans alike. We're all here for the same reason, to play hockey and throw a few back with our teammates.
How many players are on each team's roster?
Right now each team will have a minimum of 10 skaters and 1 goalie, with a maximum of 13 skaters per team. We cap the numbers of skaters to ensure everyone is getting plenty of ice time.
